Valoramás gives back more than half of its annual gross revenues to its members and to organizations making a difference in the Latino community.

Every single transaction – from the sale of memberships, to member product purchases via the shopping portion of Valoramás, to advertising revenue and much more – generates funds to help expand possibilities for our members and the Latino community. The more people that join and shop through Valoramás, the more we can build, strengthen and empower our communities.

Valoramás Community Grant Fund

The Valoramás Community Grant Fund (“VCGF”) is the entity within Valoramás that gives back to organizations making a positive difference in our communities.

Valoramás strongly believes that giving back to the community is a critical component of being a company that is about “much more than shopping”; giving back is fundamental to the core mission, values and vision of Valoramás. We are excited to be a part of the hopes, needs, dreams, desires, challenges and opportunities facing the Latino community.

Valoramás gives back more than half of its annual gross revenues to our Valoramás members and to organizations making a difference in the Latino community. Every single transaction – from the sale of Valoramás memberships, to member product purchases via our shopping mall, to advertising revenue and much more – generates funds to help expand possibilities for our members and our communities.

A portion of these funds from Valoramás memberships, purchases and additional revenues generated for Valoramás go to VCGF.

We like to think of VCGF as an active partnership between Valoramás and the non-profit and non-governmental organizations that are working each day to improve the lives of Hispanics. VCGF is focused on four areas of critical need in the Latino community:

• Education
• Health Care
• Community Development
• Arts and Humanities

VCGF grants are awarded pursuant to regular consultations between Valoramás’ executive team and leading Latino community leaders throughout the United States. Valoramás’ team of community executives are working with nationally recognized Latino community leaders to ensure that the Fund award process is transparent and maximizes benefits to the Latino community. Valoramás’ community giveback model has been based on the best practices of the most successful philanthropic entities, as well as organizations such as the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy. We value transparency and integrity in all our dealings, especially when it comes to the VCGF’s work in the Latino community.
