Antonio’s Holiday Checklist- Geeky and Proud
Tuesday, November 27th, 2012I can’t wait for the holidays! It’s a great time to catch-up with family and friends.
This year, I’m hoping for the iPhone 5, (I know, I know) everyone is asking for it. I’ve asked my family and a couple of friends to “go in” on the present.
What makes the iPhone worth its cost is the apps.
Here are my top downloads for Latino geeks (you’re welcome.)

Both people need to download the app and the call from your cellphone is either free or inexpensive.
-
Raw Food Chef Pro Mexican ($4.99)
Raw Food Chef Pro Mexican provides information of the best healthy Mexican food.
-
Quado Mexican Train Dominoes (Free)
Play dominoes online. It’s like “Words With Friends” but focused on dominoes – Latino style.
-
Univision Móvil (Free)
It’s a staple. Great for MLS stats, news, and radio.
-
Batanga Radio App (Free)
Speaking of music, Batanga Radio App is awesome. It’s free and was relaunched in October.
I could go on and on.
For my mom, I’ll probably have flowers sent to our house. She likes ProFlowers because she says they last longer.
For my dad, we usually do a guy’s day. We’ll go to a soccer game and I’ll buy him some Chivas gear.
My mom usually helps me pick out a present for Patricia, my sister.
Happy Holidays and comment if you want to talk apps!
