Tea Time for Health

For Christmas 2011, Santa brought me a great tea set from the tea retailer Teavana. This helps me stick to one of my key 2012 New Year’s resolutions, which is to initiate a healthier morning routine.

Tea has many potential health benefits:

• The anti-oxidants in White Tea have anti-aging potential and they may help prevent some cancers, as well as inflammation and heart disease.
• Tea contains fluoride, which protects teeth.
• People who drink black tea 4 times a day for 6 weeks were found to be less stressed out.
• Green tea may offer some protection against lung cancer, according to studies.
